Western Magpies winger Aaron Maricic justified his recall to the Queensland U/18 side with a starring role in QLD's upset victory over TAC Cup Powerhouse the Calder Cannons in Melbourne.  This followed the QLD Victory at Redland the week prior ove rhte 2014 TAC Cup Premiers - Oakleigh Chargers.

Maricic was used in an unaccustomed role in the back pocket for the QLD side, but adapted well to be a key player. 

He will be a key player for the Magpies in the latter half of the season upon his return, with his speed, run and carry through the midfield playing a crucial role on the Pies charge to the 2015 finals.
