PLACE PREVIEW - Reserves Round 16 vs Mt Gravatt

The Western Magpies Reserves will field their strongest team for the season against Mt Gravatt on Saturday.

There are 9 changes to the side that defeated Palm Beach-Currumbin last week.

In come key forwards Matt Garland (Returning from Seniors) and Matt Hockley (work commitments), half forwards Joel Workman, Luke de Nys and Jadan Morton, all from injury, wingers Brodie Easton (Seniors) and Sunny Aneet returns after missing a week with small forward Jak Williams back from playing for the Lions Reserves last week.

Jake Heard has been promoted to the Seniors and a number of Woodsmen who helped out last week return to their side to prepare for finals action next weekend.

Gabe McKinnon across half back is having a fine season and recently celebrated 200 club games, in addition to his long junior service.

Bryce Crossley has had a consistent year in midfield and Redlands listed ruckman/forward Liam Dwyer has enjoyed his return to football to be a fine player in recent matches.

Young ruckman Monty Vine has toiled hard all year and other youngsters in Logan Murray and Matt Mazarolle will be in the Senior mix next season.

With winnable matches in the last two rounds, the Pies are a big chance to knock off the finals-bound Vultures to help finish the season with three wins and end on a high note.
