There won't be much tension in the room when the Woodsmen awards are presented tonight, as a vote count has been held already to avoid a packed schedule this evening.

CHF Gerard Moore will be presented the Nipperress Medal for Best and Fairest for the Woodsmen in 2017 - amazingly his first ever B&F win in a so far pretty illustrious career to date!

Moore was a narrow winner over joint runner up Andrew Thomson and defending champion Sam Curtis in the Woodsmen’s recent Vote Count.
