The team at Place Graceville have been a major partner of the club since 2014 when the Magpies entered the re-formed QAFL competition, and both parties were keen to extend the partnership further.  The growth of the Place team has mirrored that of the Magpies in recent years as they become the leading agency not just in the immediate area surrounding Graceville, but further afield in the western suburbs of Brisbane.

Brad Robson (pictured above with Monty Vine)) from Place had this to say about extending for a further 3 years.

“The Magpies are the major community hub for families in the area as the largest sporting club of any code in the immediate vicinity and are a natural partner for our business.  With both the Magpies and Place being leaders in innovation, as well as basic old fashioned values of excellence, respect and humility – we feel it’s a natural fit for our business”

Peter May (pictured above with Kale Reed), also from Place added his own thoughts.

“As a fan of Australian Rules and a local resident, I love getting down to the club for a game of 9’s or to watch the Magpies sides in all age groups take on the opposition and I couldn’t help but see the natural link with Place Graceville and the Magpies as leaders in the local community in each of our fields.” he said.

Club President – Andrew Thomson welcomed the news and encourages all Magpie families to acknowledge the support of club partners in all fields as they are a vital part of keeping the club thriving.

“I have been lucky enough to be both the vendor and the purchaser in some real-estate transactions with Place Graceville, and I wouldn’t use anybody else in the area.  We only partner with organisations we’d be happy for our members to support, safe in the knowledge they will get the service, care and support we endeavour to provide to everyone involved in the club.  The team at Place Graceville are not merely financial sponsors of the club, they are true community partners in every sense and we look forward to building on that partnership further for the next three years” he said.

We encourage our members to keep an eye on social media in the next 6 months as both Place Graceville and the Magpies continue to set the benchmark in innovation and engagement with the local community.

“Just as many people are often shocked when I tell them the size of our footy club, with our extensive ex player and supporter network, as well as our 500+ registered players, volunteers, coaches and members – I was also pleasantly surprised by the size of the Place Graceville team.  With their superior local knowledge and quality service, I had incorrectly assumed they focussed only on the immediate area surrounding Graceville, only to find that their sales team extends significantly further, not to mention their property management services.” Mr Thomson said.
