With as about as many changes to side as the Melbourne weather...the boys are still adapting to the new game style and showed in patches that in-time and with some fine tuning this recent experimental period will start to pay off!

Unfortunately this weeks game was a bit similar to last week - the Ressies side just couldn't finish off the hard work on the scoreboard.  A couple of skill errors in crucial times were costly, and at this level turn-overs cost you - but the hard work and desire is there, which is a great sign for the season ahead. 

Stuart Hubbard new to the club & the game itself showed how its done in the 3rd quarter by kicking 2 goals and setting up a couple more with 2nd & 3rd efforts, so with more development into him, he will become a great asset. 

Thanks to the Colts who backed up from a solid early morning training session to play out a full game in pretty hot & humid conditions. 

Pleasing sign is all players got through unscathed & considering there's no game this weekend we should have a healthy list to pick from for Round 1.
