Coopers Club Event - Alchemy Night a Roaring Success!

On Saturday July 16, the Western Magpies and Sherwood Football Clubs celebrated their mid season "Alchemy Night" at the highly regarded Alchemy Restaurant on Eagle St.
Over 180 guests attended the event and were able to mingle with AFL greats such as Simon Black, Luke Power, Lenny Hayes, Gary O'Donnell and Amon Buchanan.
Guests were also treated to the dulcet tones of Dave Power, who provided great entertainment during the evening, as he does at his regular 'Deckchair Sunday' gig at the club.
Sophie Formica, as MC was in excellent form, whilst superb food was served and beverages flowed freely during the evening.
Big thanks also goes to Indooroopilly Shoppingtown for the fantastic gift card, awarded to former Premiership Player - Sean Toohey as the lucky door prize winner!
Senior Coach - Nathan Clarke, hosted an insightful footy forum and discussion, that had everyone on their toes and also in attendance were Local State Member, Scott Emerson and Brisbane Lions CEO - Greg Swann.
This wonderful night was put together by the club support group of Mark Blackberry, Cherie Morrison, Marty Webber, Michelle Gunn & John Fletcher. This group did a fantastic job organising and promoting the event, that brought together a great range of attendees from within the club, but also from the networks of the wider community and club supporters.
