Tradecrete - Reserves look strong with experienced core named

Sherwood have selected a strong Reserves team for Saturdays opening round clash with Mt Gravatt.
Coach Cory Hopkins has a plethora of senior experienced players with 12 of the side having tasted senior QAFL football the Magpies.
With talented youngsters out of the Colts in Lachie Davies, Jackson Paynter and Noah Resuggan keen to push for senior spots and the inclusion of new players in Sam St John, Alex Davilia, Mitch McMillan and Daniel Smith the Pies are looking to build a strong side and apply selection pressure to the senior side through consistent performances.
Zac Collison, Lachie Dennis, Jackson Paynter and Jack Austin in particular had very strong pre-seasons and Jayden Gallagher will be looking to build on his practice match form with some strong football. Aaron Maricic has obvious class forward of the ball and after a year out of football will be looking to build some momentum and show off his bag of tricks.
Alex Davilia is starting in the ruck and will be a keen starter after 4-5 years out of football, he was a superb junior/colts player at the club and onlookers will be keen to watch his progress.
